🗨️  Activity no. 1: Listen to a short sentence (05)

🗨️  Activity no. 2: Listen to a short poem   (05)

🗨️  Activity no. 3: Listen to a short story     (05)
    

Activity no.1 -   Listen to a short sentence

🗨️ The teacher will read out a sentence loudly

🗨️ Students will listen carefully and write the sentence correctly

🗨️ Words and spellings are focused in this activity

🗨️ Based on accuracy and recognition of the words

                 Sample  sentences

🟣 Then I'am sure she sells seashore shells.

🟣 we will meet whether weather remains good.

Activity no. 2 - Listen to a short poem

🗨️ The teacher will read out a short poem loudly

🗨️ Students will listen the poem carefully and write the short summary  / Gist / Theme / Central idea

🗨️ Students will also write the figures of speech,rhyming words and rhyme scheme

🗨️ Poetic appreciation is focused in this activity

                         Sample poem

Down in a green and shady bed,
A modest violet grew,
Its stalk was bent, it hung its head,
As if to hide from view.

And yet it was a lovely flower,
Its colours bright and fair;
It might have graced a rosy bower,
Instead of hiding there,

Activity no. 3 - Listen to a short story

🗨️ The teacher will read out a short to loudly

🗨️ Student will listen the story carefully and write the theme and moral of the story

🗨️ Students will also write their own opinion regarding the story

🗨️ Students comprehension and analytical skills are focused here

                        Sample story

Ram and Shyam were friends. They lived in a village. Once they made a plan to go to a nearby city.They passed through a forest. Wild animals lived in that forest. On the way they saw a bear. Shyam was selfish. He climbed up a tree. Ram could not climb up the tree. He lay down on the ground. He held his breath.The bear smelt him and took him for a dead. He went away.Shyam  came down and asked Ram, “What was the bear saying in your ears ?”Ram replied, “He advised me to beware of friends who run away in danger."

Internet, Online education, Social media, Covid -19, Chemical fertilizers, Importance of education, science, Today's  politics, Plastic & environment, Wildlife protection etc.

    Introduce Yourself :
Family background, education, hobbies, memorable event, future plans & goals etc.

🟣  Sample Activity no. 3

Narrate :
Narrate a memorable or unforgettable moment in your life or Narrate a story that you have recently read etc.

Imagine :

If I were the prime minister of india.....
If I will be an Astrologer...
If I will be a bus conductor.....    etc.

🟣 Sample Activity no. 5 -

Role playing , using proper dialogues

Perform a role of a doctor, bus conductor, bank manager, teacher, politician, beggar, businessman  etc.

Arrange a group discussion by forming groups of 2-3 students. Give them any topic. Observe individually.
