'Indian Weavers' is a short poem written by Sarojini Naidu. The title of the poem is apt and meaningful. The poet highlights the craft and skill of the weavers. She speaks about the three important stages in a man's life-birth, marriage and death. The weavers weave a blue clothe for a baby in the morning, a green and purple marriage veil for a queen in the afternoon and a white funeral shroud for a dead man in the night.

The poem is written in a metaphorical style. The language of the poem is simple, lucid and conversational. The poet has made the use of Metaphor, Simile and Alliteration effectively.
